My Easter nest project – the transformable wonder!
I just wanted to "do something quick for Easter"… well, now I've built a nest that can do almost more than I can!
The whole thing is basically the transformer of decorative projects: Almost everything is pluggable (except the bottom and two sides) and interchangeable – perfect for all your decorative needs!
First, it's an Easter nest for small gifts, with an integrated pencil holder and a test tube for flowers or pendants . The kids are totally loving it – Easter nest alert!
The highlight: The motifs on the pencil holder are magnetic – today a bunny, tomorrow Minecraft, the day after a unicorn. And when nothing else fits in: Off to the fridge – voila, decoration!
The pencil holder is also multifunctional: take it out, put the light in, and you have a cute night light . And it continues inside: small plug-in connectors for even more decorations – bunnies, dragons, or alien cows, depending on your mood, who knows.
For those less playful (well... who?), you can simply insert an organizer and have a stylish piece for your desk. Organizer + pencil holder + decorative test tube = deluxe combo!
Material? 8 sheets of A3 plywood, 4 mm thick, 4 hours of laser time – with two machines at once (40W & 60W, because I'm impatient). And a 10W for the finer work. Then it was time for the paintbrush for the colorful work – a real crafting fitness workout!
And now? Get more wood, stock up on magnets, and fulfill all the kids' wishes – with glitter and hearts!

Large Format CNC Router for DIY’ers – TwoTrees TTC H40 Review

In this video we have a look at the new TTC H40 cnc router from TwoTrees. This is a large format desktop machine that uses Nema 23 stepper motors to drive 16mm leadscrews on 20 and 30mm tube rails on the x and y axes, and linear rails on the z axis to move the spindle at a max 1800mm/min travel speed around a total work volume of 1000x1000x100mm. An even larger version will be available with a work area of 2000x1000x100mm.

The machine comes with your choice of either a standard 500w spindle, an 800w trim router, and/or a 20W diode laser module. The motion controller comes with a touch screen display and sd card slot for working offline, as well as wifi and usb connection ports, an emergency stop switch and spindle speed control.

Eye and ear protection are included with the kit, as well as a long measuring stick for spacing the y axis rails and all the tools and fasteners needed to put it together which only takes around 15-20 minutes. TwoTrees designed it as simply as possible so that it's relatively quick and easy to assemble and disassemble for storage when it's not being used.

All Easter Projects are done for this year. I used the TTS55 Pro for every project here. Maybe some Inspiration for you for next easter. And now, after this Easter-Laser-Marathon it is time for a few days Laser break and after that i al going to try the TS20 i bought. It arrived last saturday

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝟭𝟬𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲:
𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
•I personally recommend applying a layer of whiteboard marker on the surface. This isn't strictly necessary, but it can help reduce potential glare or reflections that might affect the laser lens over time. It's a simple precaution that could extend the life of your equipment.
𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
•Find or download your design (for example, from Pinterest)
•Open the image in Canva and resize it to match your pendant dimensions (e.g., 25×25mm)
•Export it as a PNG with the highest pixel resolution available for the best engraving quality
𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗥:
•Import the PNG into imagR
•Set the dimensions in mm and adjust the resolution to 318 DPI (Choose a DPI that corresponds to the spot size of your laser’s beam. For example, if your laser’s spot size is 0.08mm, a DPI of around 318 is a good match)
•Select the material/algorithm: Norton → Norton Stainless Steel
•Click One Touch, then download the processed PNG
𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻:
•Import the image into LightBurn
•Right click on the imported image then select adjust image
•Under Presets, select "Basic"
•Choose Stucki as the image mode (or whatever mode you prefer)
•Make sure the DPI matches 318
•Tweak brightness and contrast slightly, depending on the image
𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟬𝗪:
•Speed: 2800 mm/min
•Power: 85%
•Manually adjust the focus
•Once ready, start engraving
𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: The steps outlined above are based on my personal preferences and setup. Feel free to use this as a reference or starting point — and don’t hesitate to tweak or adjust anything that suits your taste, engraving style, or your machine’s wattage and capabilities.

Deviating slightly from my usual content, let's take a look at the new version 3 of TwoTrees' Sapphire Plus 5 coreXY 3D printer! The SP-5 V3 has a build volume of 300x300x350mm, maximum print speeds of up to 300mm/s and now features a direct drive extruder and a Robin Nano V3.1 motherboard running Marlin with TMC2208 silent stepper drives.
Having never used an off the shelf 3D printer before, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up and get running even with my limited knowledge about 3D printing. I was basically able to get very good prints off the cuff using the included slicer settings. With Halloween so close I obviously had to print the best Halloween knick-knack I found on Thingiverse and Printables!

All the parts of the table is cut and engraved by twotrees 55 pro

Even small things can be beautifully processed with a laser. And what could be better than enjoying life with the laser, loving it, and laughingwith like-minded people who are just as addicted to it?

Installation is much easier than with other 3D printers. All components are neatly packaged, and the step - by - step instructions are clear. Even as a non - tech - savvy user, I found the process straightforward. I was able to unbox, put together the major parts, and complete the initial calibration without a hitch. The intuitive design of the assembly and calibration mechanisms made the entire process stress - free. I didn't encounter overly complicated maneuvers or hard - to - understand procedures. Its great brightness and easy installation make it a top - notch product for functionality and user convenience.​

I'm really, really satisfied with the product. When I first started thinking about buying it, man, it was so easy. The info they gave about the product was super clear.
